Here’s a look at the top 5 most viewed posts from 2019.

#1 Micro820 and Micro850 Default IP Address

Our most viewed post in all of 2019 was a technical support article about the default IP address in the Ethernet-enabled Micro800 controllers, the Micro 820 and Micro850. Although the Micro820 and Micro850 are DHCP enabled out of the box, if a DHCP server does not respond, a default IP address is provided.

#2 Sending an Email from a Logix Controller

Our second most read post from 2019 was also a technical support article on how to send an email from a Logix controller. This can be done from the controller itself, or with the use of the eWON Flexy 205 industrial gateway.

#3 Logging Data from Logix Controllers

Coming in third was an application feature that listed several ways to log data with a Logix controller. This can be done onboard the Logix controller using the SD card, or through various external methods, such as the ProSoft Data Logger or eWON Flexy 205.

#4 Connected Components Workbench V12 includes Micro800 Simulator

Version 12 of Connected Components Workbench (CCW) software included a new Micro800 Simulator. Now you can test your code without the need of a controller.

#5 Learn More About LogixAI

Rockwell Automation released the LogixAI module in 2019. This is an embedded analytics module that can be placed right in your ControlLogix chassis.
